Mark Hovermale is terrific! He is passionately committed to the spiritual growth and development of young people in our churches today. He is undoubtedly the most organized youth director you will ever meet! He has successfully developed and maintained a thriving junior and senior high ministry within our Presbyterian Church. The kids love him, the leaders and parents love him, and the church staff loves him. He has a lot of wisdom and experience to offer mainline churches wishing to initiate or renovate their youth programs.
--Rev. Emily Riley Campbell Associate Pastor, First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth, MI
Mark’s true passion in ministry is bringing God’s Word into Student Culture. As a full time Director of Students he lives his life engaged in the realities that his students face in the day to day. Mark’s interactions with students show that he gets it! Mark is the real deal with a solid vision and genuine heart to see Student Ministries to flourish. As a partner in ministry I can honestly say that Mark carries his contagious passion into everything he does.

I want to offer my support and recommendation for Mark Hovermale in his endeavors to offer consulting as his personal business.
Being a deacon and youth counsel member at First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth, I've had the opportunity to both work with and observe Mark's skills in various situations.
- His has always displayed a positive attitude and been well organized in the tasks he has taken to serve our membership.
- He is a loving husband and father which radiates from his body when he is around his wife and daughter.
- He continues to reach out to the youth of the church and it has resulted in a major growth in participation due to the way the young adults are able to relate to him.
- One of his great strengths is his ability to speak in a manner than keeps their attention while delivering the message or direction to improve the faith of the youth. His communication skills are outstanding as I have witnessed in the youth group he leads on Sunday nights with high school kids.
- He has taken his own personal time to attend multiple sporting events to watch and cheer on those who have been a part of his youth ministry and makes each one feel special.
This comes from his heart as I have been blessed to see him support both of my boys in their individual athletic careers. Our boys comments has always been what a great thing that our youth minister has come to watch and cheer me on and take the time to stay after the event to congratulate them on their effort.
It is my extreme pleasure to recommend Mark to anyone who would like to consider using his services.
--Alan A. Thompson Deacon, Youth Council Member-First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth
